Michelena is a self-taught artist, entrepreneur, teacher, Mother, community builder, adventurer, and gatherer.

The mosaic medium is a channel for her curiosity, and her resulting expression brings connection, collaboration, and beauty.

She lives in the duality of a grounded Mother bear and wild and free gypsy, constantly inspired by her three sons and the magic in this world. She is a master of creating beauty from what’s broken.
